When you wish upon a star...

...your dreams come true. I was able to procure an absolutely beautiful early model Stace breech from Grant Stace in New Zealand. This was from his personal stash, so I am extremely grateful to Grant for parting with it. In fact, it is stamped with #5, so there is only one breech out there before mine that was sold, #4. Grant Stace kept #1, 2 and 3 for himself, those will not be sold. The breech came with a stainless steel bolt handle, bolt with extended probe and a beautiful wide brass barrel band(I have no photos of the brass barrel band yet). The fit and function are superb. I can tell already that I am going to have a lot of fun with these fine parts on the new 2250 I am building. Thanks again Grant.

The first picture is of the custom brass CO2 endcap and power adjuster I ordered from Art Braden. These are incredible looking and will really help achieve the look I am going for with this new rifle.

In the very last photo is a stainless steel trigger spring adjuster I purchased from Grant Stace. Once I get the proper spring to use with it I will install it in the 2250 as well. I am curious to see how well this lets me adjust the pull weight of the trigger. Just another neat goodie for my gun. Now, just to put it all together and have some fun!

All that is left to purchase for this gun is a nice barrel shroud from Rich in Mich. and a black trigger shoe from Roy at MountainAir. I am going to buy a couple of hammer guides as well from him to install in the 2250 and my 2240.

Photos of the completed 2250 coming soon...
